The Huntington Beach Union High School District celebrated the 100th anniversary of its historic auditorium with an evening event titled "A Century of Stars and Stories." The celebration included performances by Academy of Performing Arts students, the Surf City Singers, and Music, Media, Entertainment, and Technology groups, as well as a documentary video journey through the auditorium's decades of history. A commemorative plaque was unveiled during intermission. The event drew alumni spanning generations, all connected by memories made on that stage.
